Magoo donates door prizes to add a Mothers Day touch to the ABK (Amrita Bala Kendra Cultural Program) who put on a fundraiser to help bring Amma to Canada.
It’s Mother’s Day and Magoo wants to acknowledge all the Mothers that have blessed him in life.
Three very different mothers....
First and foremost Mother Earth…
Without Mother Earth we could not be here today sharing our lives with each and every one of you. Mother Earth needs us to respect her and walk gently trying to leave a little of a footprint as possible. Enjoy her beauty in nature and try to give a bit of love back by plants seeds of kindness in everything we do. So to the Mother that receives this gift we hope you take it seriously and plant seeds to nourish your soul and the souls of others. (A PLANTER BALLOT)
Secondly would be all the Mothers, Nana’s, Grandmothers, and friends…Without them we would have a difficult time understanding true unconditional love. They are the ones would never give up on the youths of today. They are the ones who believe in the dream for a better world. They are the ones who believe in anything is possible if we just try. For this Mother we hope that she will paint a beautiful image of what dreams are made of. (A PAINT BALLOT)
And lastly but most importantly our Spiritual Mother, Mata Amritanandamayi known as “AMMA” Who is the force behind AYUDH which means PEACE. AYUDH also stands for 'Amma's Youth for Unity, Diversity and Humanity’. Amma inspires the youth of today by her life and work as a world-renowned spiritual and humanitarian leader with her eternal universal love and compassion. May this Mother enjoy the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled as she takes a few moments to herself so that she too can emanate PEACE out into today’s world.
